From Illinois…. Freeze brown sugar to keep it from lumping.  If it is already hard and lumpy, freeze it and it will soften. Growing up I seem to remember Ester keeping almost everything in the freezer for preservation! Today I also keep my flour in the freezer.  I stays fluffy 🙂

From NEW MEXICO… Shortly before taking cupcakes from the oven, place a marshmallow on each for the frosting!!! I will personally be trying this one!  

From a gal in the state of Maine…. Buy the cheapest brownie mix and add a 6 oz. bag of chocolate chips! They are DELICIOUS!
